OTENGA is an exclusive gift given to VIPs and important clients of the company, TENGA, every year to celebrate the New Year. The name "OTENGA" is a play on words with the Japanese term "お年賀" (ONENGA), which translates to "New Year's gift."
The project involves creating a highly exclusive special edition graphic of TENGA's most iconic product, The Original Vacuum Cup. Every year, all designers in the graphic team submit their ideas and proposals in a competition. After careful consideration, the creative director selects the best design.
I had the pleasure and honor of working on this thrilling project for three years in a row: the Year of the Ox (’21), Tiger (’22), and Rabbit (’23).
